How it started:
BrushCapades was founded in 2014 by Anjl Rodee, a Seattle based master artist, professional comic and musician. As such, we are forever committed to the passion for art and helping others to connect through humor, vulnerability, and creative expression. BrushCapades has provided thousands of individuals with online and in-person classes and workshops over the years. We’ve also partnered with many of the biggest organizations in the world, including Microsoft, Google, and Amazon. How can we help you?

BrushCapades is unique in that it encourages visitors to trust themselves through the artistic process rather than being led through a rigid, instructional process. Instead of making sure each step is perfect, the focus remains on having fun and fostering connection through vulnerability and stepping outside of their comfort zone through a shared experience.
